In the diagram below, you can see that there is a cross-section of the penis and it shows three chambers. The two main chambers on top of the smaller one (corpus spongiosum) are known ascorpora cavernosa.
When you are aroused, the corpora cavernosa is filled with blood and it’s expansion puts a pressure on the tunica albuginea which traps the blood in them (corpora cavernosa). Now what you have is called an erection.
The smaller chamber is also filled with blood but with a smaller amount to protect the urethra tissues and allow ejaculation.
The size of the erect penis is dependent on the capacity of the two chambers when it is fully expanded.
The two clinically proven enlargement methods are capable of increasing the capacity of the corpora cavernosa permanently, the bigger the expansion, the more blood is permitted into the penis when erect.
